Christmas at FSM
One of the most anticipated seasons is approaching: Christmas Holidays! For the past 16 years, Christmas has been a special time at the Mission, not only to remember the birth of our Savior, but to share God’s love with the community. We do this in both the church and educational programs with different activities.
This year we have been working on three celebrations. First, a Hawaiian themed party for ages 3-11 with costumes, games, snacks, Bible stories, and lots of fun!
Second, a Christmas Pajama party for pre-teens and young adults with Games, plays, conversations, dinner, and a piñata!
Finally, a community party for all people of all ages! This year we will have a guitar trio and a choir directed by Alisson Badilla who has been part of the church and educational programs since she was 3 years old. We will share about the birth of Jesus with the community, and of course end our time together with a typical Costa Rican Christmas treat: coffee and tamales!
Merry Christmas from FSM!
