2025 Run With A Mission
Our 12th Annual Run With A Mission is coming up on February 22, 2025. The Run is a vital part of the overall mission of FSM!
Each year, nearly 300 runners gather in Nocatee, FL to support Faithful Servant Missions at the Run. We have a variety of options for all different styles of runners, including:
5K Walk/Run
10K Run
1 Mile Fun Run
Races are professionally timed, so those more serious runners will enjoy the official timekeeping and course. For the walkers and runners who are less concerned with their timing, you’ll love the beautiful, paved path, bridges, and greenery lining the racing course.
After the race is when the real fun begins! Walkers and runners will enjoy lunch for free from the FSM Grill, including burgers, hot dogs, and more! Just as FSM is a relationally-focused mission, the Run is a great place to reconnect with other FSM supporters and spend time together! We love hearing runners exchange stories from their time at the mission and share memories from previous FSM events. Whether you’ve traveled to Costa Rica with FSM or not, it’s always fun to hang out after the races and spend time together.
In addition to the tasty food, we host a Family Fun Fest for the rest of the morning! Games, balloon animals, music, and more are available for kids of all ages to play and have fun! Families can also bid on silent auction items and find something to take home, like a Family Movie Night basket, local sports games tickets, and more! And of course, all proceeds from the silent auction goes towards the programs of FSM in Costa Rica.
BUT WAIT! What if you’re not local to the Jacksonville, Florida area? We are so blessed to have FSM family and friends all across the world, so we’ve got a Virtual 5K option, too! As a virtual runner you can sign up online and run anywhere in the world! And you’ll still get arguably the best perk of being a runner–the shirt! These shirts are buttery soft and slightly longer than a regular t-shirt, perfect for running, walking, lounging, or just supporting FSM! This year’s shirts are a beautiful blue, and contain the Run logo footprint with a simple traditional hand painted oxcart design in the sole of the shoe.
