Pastoral Training

Pastors Poncho and Giselle and their son Axel recently finished a leadership program through Vineyard Latin America, Colaboradores Por Cristo (Collaborators for Christ) Institute. The institute was created for church leaders in Latin America where students study topics like theology, practical evangelism, healthy leadership and self care, values of the Vineyard church movement, church management, spiritual development, and church planting. They attended classes in person and online over the last nine months.

One pillar of the institute is teaching pastors and leaders how to create a business model to sustain the local church. This is especially important in Latin America where weekly offerings are often very low.

Pastors Poncho and Giselle say that at times it was challenging to balance their daily responsibilities in the church with their studies, but they can see how God helped them in this process. They are so thankful for their growth, all they learned at the institute, and how it has prepared them to better meet the community's needs through La Viña.
