Celebrating Jafeth’s Return to the Mission
After a year of medical leave, we are pleased to have Jafeth return to his full-time role at FSM as Administrator! He was released by the doctors to resume working in mid-February, although he would have gladly come back sooner–and we would have welcomed him!
We also want to publicly thank and recognize Laura for her work over the past year. She has been part of the mission in various ways throughout the past two decades, and FSM would not be the same without her heart and influence! From being the very first teacher we hired to taking on many administrative duties in Jafeth’s absence, Laura has been a vital part of the FSM family. We are grateful she will continue to serve as part-time preschool teacher.
Just three weeks after Jafeth’s return to work, he took on a new role as husband! He and Lori were married on March 8 in a beautiful beach ceremony in Playa Hermosa, Guana Costa.. Pastors Poncho and Giselle officiated with family and friends in attendance. The FSM staff and board celebrated their love near and far, and we are continuing to pray for them as they enter this new stage of life.
